Green Communities International will be hosting its 1st International Conference on Environment, Social, Governance and Sustainable Development of Africa (ICESDA -2024).

Conference Background

  • This conference is a clarion response to the growing demand for all organizations, higher education institutions, companies and stakeholders to engage in growth and sustainable practices and community development projects. The conference aims to bring together scholars, ESG practitioners and decision makers in Ghana, Africa and around the world to discuss innovative pathways to transform our world into a sustainable and a livable place.
  • ICESDA-2024 is the first attempt in Ghana and in fact within the sub-region to bring business leaders, political leaders, traditional leaders, church leaders, academic leaders and CSR practitioners (locally and globally, particularly in Africa) at one-stop-shop to discuss the contributions of corporate organizations in delivering the sustainable development goals.
  • ICESDA-2024 will afford participants the opportunity to discuss innovative ideas, strategies, and approaches that would promote sustainable practices in delivering meaningful social value, whilst ensuring readiness for tomorrow.
  • ICESDA-2024 will provide a platform for discussion, interaction, collaboration, networking and sharing, all for the sake of contributing to the existing bodies of knowledge related to the conference theme.

As such, ICESDA-2024 invites scholarly work in the form of empirical research papers, conceptual research papers, rigorous case studies and technical research reports which address these intrinsic difficulties in all aspects of disciplines related to business management.
  • ESG teams, big and small all over the world will converge in Ghana and discuss actionable insights and tactics to engage their employees in their business value chain and critical programmes. The conference will also offer corporate organizations (participants) the opportunity to showcase their sustainable lifestyles, CSR contributions and sustainable innovations pathways of meeting the demand of the next pandemic.
